a soundtrack rendition for Najiba Yasmin's short film.

when i watched the film, i saw it in the form of a trailer/teaser/peek into one's life.

we may like to believe we know someone truly and right then more of their life begins to unfold before us, bleeding and blurring these clear, distinct lines we define them by. it's intriguing, mysterious and always leading towards something new. through this journey, we begin to understand this individual and in turn ourselves better. hence, i wanted to compose a soundtrack that resonated with movement, gradually blurring these distinct sounds and bleeding into each other.

similarly, this year (2020) in many ways has been that defining moment for us. we convinced ourselves to believe we know our lives and futures until the unexpected occurred. these moments had us rethink and re-evaluate what we truly desire out of life and the time we have left. it has made us introspect, reflect and look inwards.

let this year 2020 be remembered as a trailer/teaser/peek into our lives, choices, environments and everything we wish to define ourselves by from here on out.
